The aerial hoop (a.k.a. lyra, aerial ring or cerceau) is a circular steel apparatus (resembling a hula hoop) suspended from the ceiling, on which artists perform aerial acrobatics.
Very similar to the skills of Static Trapeze, just on a round metal frame. If you want to combine fitness, strength and stamina with a truly beautiful spectacle then Hoop is for you. Suspended mid air above the ground you create graceful shapes and stunning forms around a spinning circular frame.
Professional hoop artists are always popular at cabarets, festivals and corporate events as well as in theatre and circus.
