Introduction to Rigging for Aerialists

Course Information:

Our very own Operations Director Nik Litton will be delivering this introduction to rigging for aerialists. The course covers a range of theory work and practical elements, and you will learn all about the fundamentals of aerial rigging and safety. Course content includes: safety factors, legal responsibilities, knots and their uses in different circumstances, lifting and loads, and connectors.

Nik has built 3 circus schools and regularly works on a range of aerial rigging, performer flying, and consultation jobs; and has a phenomenal breadth of knowledge and experience in the field.

Further Information:

Participants should ideally have a background in aerial performance or technical theatre, and have a reasonable level of fitness (for optional practical 'at height' demonstrations).
